This lever was removed from a 1980 and the rot-prone wiring replaced with new. Knob gently pressed, but can be easily removed pulled upward and off in order to install the boot.

Take care re-installing the knob, wiring is in good shape now but it delicate and needs to be put back place carefully when knob switch assembly. To my knowledge the set screw and lever design is slightly different makes for a longer shift throw on earlier levers. Oe Volvo 240 M46 4-speed overdrive speed shift lever knob assembly. Fits 260 to my knowledge with M46 transmission, as well probably the odd rare an instead of m41.

Reverse lockout and od wiring in very good condition. Knob and lever in good to excellent condition, rare this condition anymore.
