As you can see pictured the main Shifter case is in very nice condition, with chrome stick also light small imperfections a couple spots hard to capture picture, or naked eye, I want best describe everything possible. Over all this Shifter is in great original condition, and will not disappoint. Shifter ball is not included, and it will need the small bushing kit.
I put down in the title that it will fit Javelins being said am not 100 sure of exact years, and model fit, so please do your research before making purchase. Up for sale here is one very nice used rare vintage original factory Amc Amx Javelin Hurst Shifter stamped 3138, with chrome stick 7756, and shift rods a 4 speed application. The shift rods are included, as seen pictured in last photo I am pointing to long rod, owner said he had use that one rod for his application, and might not be original.
The story behind this Shifter is that it was pulled out over 40 years ago of a 1971 Javelin because owner converted car to automatic for drag racing. The main body has original factory stamp of 3138 with black phosphate coating backup switch bracket. The main case id number 0820844k, showing you this is an original factory install.
That being said it has been in the original owners garage for past 40 years up until last week.
